Problem:

Customer unable to declare usage of UIDs because the labels were shipped to a location that the user is not linked to.  A designated factory user may have responsibility for making declarations for multiple factory locations.

 

How to Resolve:

Login to the InSight portal

 

For the UIDs in question, confirm which location the labels were shipped to.   This can be done by either:

  • Authenticating the UIDs
  • Running the Shipment History report

 

Confirm the organizations have been set up correctly in MAS and associated to InSight

  • Go to Organizations in the InSight menu 

 

Confirm the organizations have been added to the Program in InSight

  • Go to Programs è Organizations

 

To add a Delegate to an organization

  • Search for the Organization and click the Associate Delegate icon

 

 

  • Select which Program Organizations will be Delegated Organizations by highlighting them and clicking on the arrows
  • Click Save

 

 

 

Results:

The user will now be able to make declarations on behalf of linked organizations by selecting from the Organization drop down list.
